I wrote Fractal noise because of a dream.
During this time, I saw a rocky planet spinning endlessly in the depths of space. On the planet, three lonely people were crossing an arid plain towards an incredibly large hole. I heard the hole pulsing like a massive speaker, and in the sound I felt a fractal pattern coiling deeper and deeper into itself. An infinity of details from a finite beginning.
