In fact, you should feel very, very happy, because underworld is on sale for just $12.49(opens in a new tab) in Nintendo eShop from December 19. This 50% price reduction only applies to the digital download version, not the physical copy, which is still $34.99. You’ve probably heard of the massively popular game’s basic plot. In case you haven’t: You play Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he tries to fight his way out of the underworld. You fight through random enemies, parts, and perks on each run, battling your way to the final boss. If you die, you start all over again, but you also collect resources for a stronger next run.
For experienced players, it’s a decent challenge, but for newer or more casual players, it’s not that hard as being unreachable (I’m speaking from personal experience here). Moreover, the game has beautiful art and amazing voice acting. As former Mashable journalist Kellen Beck wrote in his eulogy for the game, “I haven’t met a single person who didn’t like Supergiant Games.” underworld.”
Unfortunately, there is no mechanism to offer a digital game in the eShop, but you can still grab an eShop gift card(opens in a new tab).
You can enter underworld for just $12.49 until Dec. 28 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Taking advantage of the sale not only saves you money, but also gives you plenty of time to catch up before Hades 2, which should have its version in early access “sometime in 2023”.
